My sales for the week of July 4th just keep getting worse. I only sold two items that week and one of them doesn't count because the buyer never paid!!! I sent a couple of invoices reminding the buyer of my "payment within 7 days" policy. I never heard from them. I opened a case after the 7 days were up. I never heard from them. I closed the case 4 days later. I still never heard from them!!! I can only guess that this buyer has fallen off the face of the earth. I mean, it's the only logical explanation. I looked up their feedback and they had over 1000 positive feedbacks with comments like "Quick Payment", "Immediate Payment", "Great buyer", so that falling off the earth thing has got to be the only explanation.
Oh well... Sales did pick up a little this week with a whopping 6 items being shipped out. Since I really still consider this a "hobby", I shouldn't let the numbers get me down, right? So here's a look at the top sellers...
This XL Men's Chaps Cashmere Blend sweater sold for $14.99. I picked it up at Kohl's on the clearance rack. It's actually the third one of these I've sold. The other two were red. I have one more in XXL that hasn't sold yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
This Jerry Garcia tie was another item picked up at Kohl's. This is the sixth Jerry Garcia tie that I've sold and the third one of this print. As long as they keep selling, I'll keep picking them up on clearance! :)
And here is my surprise sell...
It's an Express Tricot Granny Square sweater. Not exactly my style but for fifty cents, I decided to pick it up and give it a shot. It sold for $9.99! I'm glad I took that chance.
Thanks to the ladies over at My Dear Trash and everyone who links up the the linky party! It's great to read all of the experiences, tips, and trials as I get my "hobby" off the ground.

I love the sweater. You've got courage to list something like that. :) It's fun to take risks, especially when they pay off. Keep up the great work.
